I'm New!

Hi! I just stumbled on this site. I will be heading to whistler for the season in September / Oct. Haven't been before, most worried about finding a place to stay i suppose. Any tips? Anyone know how difficult it is to find work once you get out there (visa almost sorted) or should i really be trying to sort now? Can't wait, roll on September! x

Hi Gemma,

I am also coming to Whistler for the season, to be more precise, at the end of August already. I am not pretty sure if it´s a good time as it´s said to be the dead season till the winter starts. However, I thought it might be easier to find the job and accomodation. I guess one can´t predict what will happen, no matter when you arrive. You just need to be lucky, I think. But it woudl be definitely useful to get some comments from some locals-if there are some reading our posts, please, we´ll be happy if you could give us some advice;-)
