Living in Squamish??

Hey, in April '09, I plan on moving to the coast, and was considering living in Squamish.

How high is the living cost in Squamish, as compared to right in Whistler? Obviously I'm thinking Squamish due to it's close proximity to Whistler.

Also, is the city itself nice? Is the nightlife non-existent? And jobs?

Would I better off just moving right into Whistler? How's the Sea to Sky Highway as far as winter travel is concerned?

How many more questions can I possibly think of?
