Moving to Whistler?
Ok so for the past couple years me and a buddy have been talking about moving Whistler mainly for boarding . Only thing that kinda scares me is work. I checked out some discussions on here and everyone seems to say there lots of work in like bars and stuff but what about trades? We have some money saved up for downpayments .Just dont feel like wasting money. So if anyone here has done this befor can you tell me how you started off? give me and idea how to do this so i dont come back home in the hole lol

Hi, I lived ad worked in Whistler for a season but before moving I had the same concerns as yourself. Whilt there is lots of work to be had, there are also lots of people looking for it! Most people do manage t find work and stay for the season, however. Before I went i used www.lovewhistler.net and checked out the 'seasonaires' section of the page...has loads of useful info on finding work and accomodation (another concern for many planning on moving to the area).
There are also some forums where employers post jobs and those hunting for or with accomodation available can advertise! All in all it's very helpful and it usd to free so presume it still is! HAVE FUN out there!
